Metabolic health company Berry Street announced a partnership with women’s healthcare provider Tia to connect Tia members with clinical nutrition therapy built around hormonal shifts, fertility, and midlife health. The deal replaces Nourish as Tia’s nutrition partner and gives members access to an AI dietitian model that pairs a human registered dietitian with AI-guided support between visits, rather than a generic meal-tracking app.

What Was Announced
Tia members now get access to Berry Street’s network of more than 1,800 registered dietitians, nearly two-thirds of whom specialize in women’s health topics such as PCOS, thyroid conditions, fertility, prenatal and postnatal nutrition, lactation, eating disorders, and weight management. Each member is paired with a dietitian who builds a personalized care plan, while Berry Street’s app layers in AI-generated support between appointments, meal tracking, and the ability to pull in data from wearables and lab results. According to the announcement, sessions are typically covered by insurance and available virtually across all 50 US states.
Why It Matters for AI-Driven Nutrition Care
Berry Street’s Marjorie Nolan called women’s health “one of the most underserved areas in clinical nutrition,” pointing to how outcomes improve when care is tailored to a woman’s specific life stage rather than delivered as general advice. Tia CEO Felicity Yost made a similar point about nutrition rarely being woven into coordinated care. The partnership is a sign of where AI nutrition tools are heading in practice: not replacing dietitians, but giving them an assistant that keeps tabs on a patient’s eating patterns, symptoms, and lab data between visits so the clinical relationship stays continuous instead of resetting every few months.
